Station House Hotel Photos

Mid last year, just as we were coming out of lock down, we finally had the chance to go out and view all the wedding venue’s we had researched while stuck at home not being able to outside of our 5km radius.

Ever since our engagement in Amsterdam, we have been down in spirit about not being able to have an engagement party of or even meet the family face to face. So, it was delightful to finally get out and have a bit of fun travelling around the country and meeting people.

One of the venue’s that was on my hit list was the Station House Hotel in County Meath. There’s something about these little, small boutique wedding venues that stand out to me.

Especially the little forest train platform. If you could buy guaranteed good weather for the day of your wedding, this would be the place to have it. Setup all your tables in the train turntable and have this wondering and unique atmosphere. The late evening would be met with beautiful light decorations scattered throughout the forest to add to the atmospheric feel.

In the end we really loved the venue, the host was very nice and gave us plenty of time to have a look around and answered any of our questions.

However, we didn’t really love the Wedding Reception area as much as some other venues. We therefore decided to move on and continue our search. If you want to check it out and see more of their photos, head over to their website.
