Light Painting Meetup in Dublin - Meet, greet and have some fun Light Painting
Let's get creative and have some fun. Turn into a light painting Jedi :)
We will try some light brushing, painting and creating all sorts of fun stuff with torches, lightsaber, steel wool and whatever else we have on with us that can create light during a long exposure.
Active participation will be essential, we will all take turns in creating light and adding our own creative touch to each image to light up a city landscape.
Light painting is just plain and simple lights that you have in your everyday house. If you have something portable, like a torch or some sort of light, bring it with you. Bring a shoestring if you wish to create the round balls of light. I will bring whatever I have, but the more the better!
Also, be aware, this is not a workshop, just a casual meetup with a goal. If you want to learn how to control your camera, check out my beginner workshops.
Equipment:
DSLR/Mirrorless camera and a tripod.
A shutter release cable would really be useful, but not necessary.
Location:
As the event is going to be held in Dublin City Centre, I want to keep this event nice and small.
The location will be sent out to people who confirm their contact number when confirming their place via WhatsApp into a group chat.
Attendance:
A reminder message will be sent in the group to confirm the numbers, anyone that does not reply will be removed from the event if another meetup member wishes to attend.
