Trip to Aghnacliff, Co. Longford

A few pictures from a lovely evening in Aghnacliff Town.

Town has a fairly recent installation of a beautiful walk around the lake area together with boardwalk, playground and picnic areas. It’s an obsoletely great spot to chill and relax. It’s called Leebeen Park on Google Maps if you want to find it.

On the occasion visited, it was very quiet and would make an excellent location for some beautiful portraits or engagement photos along the boardwalk. The walk covers the edge of the lake and is around a few kilometre walk.

If you want to extend the visit a little bit, you can take a short walk to the Pulliness Waterfall where you have a nice little walk to a wee little waterfall. As long as you’re immune to midgies, this also could be nice area for a little home made picnic.

The town also hosts a very beautiful and picturesque church that’s pleasant to look at.
