Irish Mountain Running Association - Brockagh Race
A few simple runner photos from IMRA Brockagh Race event near Laragh, Co. Wicklow . Date 30th of June, 2021.
I wish I could have gone up a little bit outside the forest and closer the mountain to get a bit more light and contrast, but as I was volunteering to help with start and finish, couldn’t move to far away from the start/finish line.
It’s nice to be on the other side of the organisation of these events :)

As we were waiting for the last 3 contestants to finish the race, I flew the drone up to see if it’s possible to see where they were. While also noticing the beautiful sunset happening over the right where Brockagh Mountain was, Centre of the Image is what I assume is the Glendalough lake closest to the monastery that’s so popular to the tourists (thankfully they are all gone during the lock down :D)
In all, a very hazy image, but the haze spreads out the light of the sun and creates this lovely warm glow.
