Chasing the Sunset in Maynooth - Landscape Photography
Been holding back this shot for a while. It was a mad evening chasing the sun. Trying to get a different angle and coincidentally, there was a photo club outing at the same time. So nearly had to fight for a decent spot.
Sun was setting behind me and that's what everyone was shooting, but seeing as constantly moving trying to get as many different locations possible, I found that the sunset colours were way more dramatic away from the sun.
Even the clouds managed to perfectly line up to create a leading line towards the house and thanks to little to no wind, we have a near perfect reflection.
I'd say I've been to this location about 10 times to get this image. Any of the previous shots just never seemed to be good enough to post on the gram.
