Dublin Photography Workshops for Begginers

Hey There!

Do you struggle with your camera and get confused with all the weird settings and terminology? Do you want to take your camera skills to the next level and capture consistently great pictures?

If the words shutter speed, ISO and aperture confuse you, I will go through all the basics of the camera and all that I have learned over years photography to help you apply them in the real outdoors. No note taking, no handouts, live training in a real-life outdoor photography scenario with quickly changing lighting conditions.

We will start just before golden hour, that will give us enough time to run through your camera settings and the theory, leaving the remaining time for photography coaching.

***WORKSHOP BRIEF:
Our workshop will consist of 2 parts.
#1 Theory behind the camera settings, we will cover the basics of aperture, shutter speed, ISO and metering.
#2 With the theory out of the way, we will try to help you capture the best image on the night.

I will be available throughout the 3-hour period to assist with any questions or help you get the best shot. I run these workshops in small numbers, this enables me to allow enough time to give everybody enough attention to help them out.

***Requirements for Workshop:
**Required Equipment: DSLR or Mirrorless Camera. (you can bring a point and shoot camera or a mobile phone, but this workshop is really intended for their bigger brothers and sisters)
**Lens Suggestion: I never limit myself to a specific focal length, but to make this as standard as possible, bring a lens that goes as close to or covers a range from 20mm to 70mm. We will not be using anything above 70mm in this workshop.
**Other Equipment: a sturdy tripod and an optional remote camera trigger
**Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes and good shoes for walking, I suggest to be prepared for the worst and dress warm and appropriately for exploration (Its Ireland, could rain at any moment). Bring shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.

***Disclaimer
Please note that I cannot influence the weather or conditions we can shoot in, the workshop will only go ahead in safe working conditions. I will monitor the weather and post updates the week before to let everyone know what to expect.
