Landscape Photography Dublin - Howth Harbour

I thought I would throw up a picture I took a few months back, seeing as we're all having sun withdrawal symptoms after having this long heatwave in Ireland, it might be nice to re-visit the nice sunny weather we have had this summer and remind us of the beautiful sunsets and vibes we were getting.

Though I have to say, I've been mostly quiet this summer, mainly due to the fact that sunrises are way too early to get up and sunsets are way too late for me to stay up for, I have been busy with portraits and tidying up my picture gallery, I have a ton of images edited and just currently posting them on my website or waiting to release them in series.

Either way I am currently working on a set of new portraits I am hoping to release in the next few months with a few other projects on the way.

Howth Harbour, Dublin at Sunset

By the end of the summer I am looking to start running workshops in Ireland, once the sunrise/sunset hours are more forgiving for most people to do it on a normal day.

Last 6 months I have been scouting locations, themes and subject I will set out to teach. Most of the work will be organised via Meetup.com, you can join our group by clicking on the link.

For the moment, enjoy this gorgeous sunset of Howth Harbour.

Technical Specs for Camera Nerds :P
Camera: Nikon D800 with a 20mm FX Nikon Lens at F4
I do believe I took these handheld, this image is a combination of 3 images.
It would be impossible to capture all of this all in one shot, you could possible get away with it by using an ND filter, but a lot of the poles and other items that are sticking out over the horizon would be pitch dark (plus I don't have one anyway :D )

The rest of the image had minor curve/sharpness tweaks, it is fairly basic at best.
If you have any questions on the image or have questions about anything, feel free to send me a private message or leave a comment below
