February Newsletter for Workshops

Good Evening Members of the Dublin Photography Meetup,

It seems that New Year is now a distant memory and were quickly moving towards Easter and with that, we’re moving into an exciting 2nd round of workshops for the year 2020.

Beginners Workshop will be held near Dun Laoghaire, Dublin this Saturday (on Leap Day - 29th of February) and will start at 15:00 and will go on for 3 hours.

We will dig into some confusing camera settings, learn how to control and master your camera and finish up just after the golden hour leaving you enjoy the rest of the evening.
I’d advise anyone to join this workshop who wants to learn how to use the manual mode in their camera and start achieving the images they see in their minds.

For those willing to embrace the dark and extended their creativity, Light Painting Workshop will run on the 7th of March on the starting at 17:15 lasting another 3 hours.

For those new and experienced, we will dig deeper at low shutter speeds, ISO, metering, white balance, focusing in difficult situations and of course learning to create interesting scenes with our light sabers, finger led lights, torches, pixel stick and anything else that emits a little bit of light to compose a fun and interesting evening of learning.
